Project Penelope Proper Progress

I have over the last few weeks flirted with the idea of selling the old Triumph. This went as far as advertising her on Gumtree, which on reflection was a really bad idea. Had my intention been to make new friends and meet new people, the advert could be considered a resounding success. There is nothing like an old Trumpy to get people chatting to you. Best Laid Plans

The best laid plans of mice and men…. The bike is now back on the drive but alas the grin has been replaced my grimace. 1956 Thunderbird (Motor) – Introducing Penelope

So having dropped the dollars on this rather cute vintage Triumph, I finally have her back home in the garage. She has successfully completed an engineers check and is now registered for use on the road here in WA. The Motor is a 1956 6T Thunderbird, the Frame and Cycle Parts all appear to be from the Triumph Parts catalogue from 1956 through to about 1970.
